Day 19: Old Silo

A decaying farm on route 45 outside of Tyrone. We were lost when we went past this farm so it was a bonus. Apparently I attracted quite a lot of attention from other motorists while I was out taking pictures. I love the way the farm land around State College is dotted with these industrial looking silos – it’s a shame some many of them are being left to decay these days. For some reason in Britain we don’t store grain (or corn) in silos like this, in fact I’m not sure what we store grain in, barns I guess.
